Restoration of the Villa Empain’s mosaics (Brussels, Belgium). Private property classified Art Deco historical heritage architecture.
Mosaic restoration
Restoration of about 125 m2 of ceramic mosaic flooring, including 45 m2 entirely created from new mosaic tiles in the studio. The 1930 mosaics are located under the pergola that surrounds the pool. Have collaborated on this project the following mosaic artists: Isabelle Ribollet, Cathy Porcher, Cécile Devors and also on-site the sculptor Jean-Michel Labarre.
